Although vastly different in their journeys, there are 3 cords that bind each of us together. We are real people infused with dynamic faith, committed to a common vision, joined together in the covenant love of our Creator.  We used to be completely broken but are now grateful for undeserved redemption, astonished by amazing Grace, healed by forgiveness and humbled by the divine invitation to be included in the greatest cause on earth. We serve a good and perfect God. The nations are His dwelling and our lives are His vessels. We have compassion for the poor, and our hearts are open to the rich. We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God, and that none may add or take away from it. We believe that the Godhead eternally exists in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit and these three are one God. We believe that the Church consists of all persons who have been regenerated by the Holy Spirit and made new people in Christ Jesus. We believe that all that have sinned and come short of the glory of God and that through the death and risen power of Christ, all who believe and confess Jesus as Lord can be saved from the penalty and power of sin. We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ is the healer and that healing is provided for in the atonement. We believe in the personal return of our Lord Jesus Christ to receive to Himself all born again believers. Ryan and Allie have two daughters who attend East Side Preschool Academy. Allie teaches 3rd grade at Woods Elementary. Throughout the New Testament we see how small group meetings helped lay the foundation for tremendous growth in the first church in Jerusalem. We believe that God still uses small groups to accomplish big growth in the church today. Everyone can join a group. Our hope is for every person at East Side to be connected in meaningful relationships through one or more of our various groups. Our three main group settings at East Side are Connect Groups, Discipleship Groups (or D-Groups), and Midweek for Adults. We want you to connect with God’s Word and with God’s People – an easy way to do that is with our Sunday School. Sunday School Classes meet on Sundays at 9am. We have many different groups to choose from and we are confident we can connect you with one that will help you to build relationships with others while you grow in your walk with Christ. These groups are designed to have a Sunday school type of setting but offer relational connection at the same time. Here at East Side, Midweek is for the whole family! Kids will have a blast with games, Bible stories, and fun activities. Students meet in the Annex for worship, discipleship, and growing in community together. Adults can connect through engaging studies designed to encourage and equip. This would be a work trip. Main project is to finish out rooms in barn/shop (putting up plywood walls), moving farm equipment, Frontier Church is a new church plant. Trip would include hosting block party with Hispanic church, canvassing, prayerwalking, possible food distribution, worship with Frontier Church on Sunday HPH provides respite homes for missionaries on furlough. They currently have six homes and one in the works. This one-day trip is a work day and will include projects like light construction depending on projects in April, cleaning up construction debris, weed eating, staining decks/fences, pulling weeds, tidying up prayer garden. The Rainbolts are IMB missionaries in Northeast London and are focusing on evangelism, sharing Jesus with others in a strategic way. London is very much a hub; they have neighbors who are British, Pakistani, African, & Indian. Religious preferences include Anglican, Athiest, Agnostic; less than 2% evangelical. They currently focus on Londoners in the Brentwood area. This trip would be focused exclusively on evangelism. Storyline is a young church plant that just united with the declining church whose building they’ve been using. Storyline has an on-campus presence at both St. Louis University (Jesuit) and WashU (like Harvard of the Midwest). They have around five new families each week and just recently moved to morning service time.  This trip would focus on serving – setting up & hosting their annual Kids Camp (similar to a VBS), filling needs in a senior adult community, prayerwalking, and canvassing. Some facilities projects may be included. We will also attend Storyline on that Sunday for worship. Winnipeg Is multicultural with over 850,000 people. 27% of the population is made up of immigrants. The cultural landscape is rapidly changing and with it comes significant Gospel opportunity. Church planting has opened new doors across Winnipeg but many are under-resourced. The goal is to strengthen & multiply Gospel-centered churches. On this trip, we’ll be coming alongside three church plants – Citylight Church, Trails Church, & Be The Church. Opportunities include a wide variety – prayerwalking, canvassing, hosting a block party in an immigrant community, hosting a Family Fun Day, an adult outreach including dinner, and a Kids Camp (similar to a VBS). The team will also worship at these churches on Sunday. Redemption Church has several church plants in the North SLC area, including Tremonton & Kaysville. The annual LDS Conference is October 3 & 4 so trip would include prayerwalking, canvassing, evangelism, possible First Responder outreach, etc. Storyline is a young church plant that just united with the declining church whose building they’ve been using. Storyline has an on-campus presence at both St. Louis University (Jesuit) and WashU (like Harvard of the Midwest). They have around five new families each week and just recently moved to morning service time.  This weekend trip would focus on hosting their Trunk or Treat & movie night; doing a lot of the work so their folks can visit and build relationships with guest. The Director of Student Ministry is responsible for overseeing all areas of ministry for students in grades 6th through 12th. This includes the discipleship and administrative functions of student ministries within the church, as well as the development and implementation of a vision and strategy for reaching students in Fort Smith and surrounding communities. Full Time Teachers at East Side Preschool Academy are responsible for the health, safety, care, and learning of a classroom of students, typically Monday-Friday from 7:00-3:000. Applicants must be 18 years old and have a high school diploma.
